본 연구의 목적은 디지털 사회의 도래로 인한 직업 환경의 변화를 살펴보고, 디지털 사회의 직업 구조와 직업 환경의 변화에 따른 새로운 직업 윤리의 정립 방향을 탐색하는 것이다. 연구의 문제의식은 디지털 혁명은 이전 산업화 시대에 형성된 직업 윤리에 한계를 가져옴으로써 디지털 사회에 적합한 새로운 직업 윤리를 필요로 한다는 데서 출발하였다. 본 연구는 크게 4장으로 구성되어 있다. 우선 Ⅱ장에서는 디지털 기술의 발달이 가져온 직업 환경의 변화를 디지털 사회, 지식기반사회, 그리고 세계화와 지역화로 나누어 살펴보았다. Ⅲ장에서는 새로운 직업 윤리의 자기 조직화를 모두 5가지 방향에서 제시하였다. 마지막으로 Ⅳ장에서는 미래 사회의 직업 윤리는 인간화된 직업 문화를 지향해야 함을 강조하였다. 본 연구의 한계는 새로운 직업 윤리의 자기 조직화 방향을 ‘도덕성을 바탕으로 한 물질의 추구’라는 매우 이상적인 방향만을 제시함으로써, 직업 현실에서 실천할 수 있는 구체적인 직업 윤리의 제도적정책적 대안을 제시하지 못한 점이다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is attempted to observe the professional environment from the advent of digital society and research the self organizing direction of professional ethics in the digital society that is changed the occupational structure and environment. This study is making a start from the critical mind that digital society needs new professional ethics because of the limit of the professional ethics made in the industrialization era. This study is composed of three parts. In the first part, we have tried to review the changes of occupational environment in the digital society and clarify the feature of change with three; Digital society, Knowledge-based society, and globalization & localization. In the second part, we have tried to present the self organizing directions of new professional ethics with presenting five features; professional ethics based on the life quality, coexistence ethics of the hierarchy and the networks, professional ethics of the Knowledge-based society, self-cleansing ethics of the anti-corruption, co-evolution ethics of the co-living. The last part, we will emphasize that occupational ethics in the digital society intend to the human being in the occupational culture. The limit of this study is that we only proposed the self organizing directions of the professional ethics with ideal type based on pursuing morality and profit together. In the future study, we will try to research the systematic and political alternative of the concrete professional ethics.
