로컬푸드에 나타난 음식의 윤리적 의미에 대한 연구

이 연구는 음식에 대한 윤리적 접근으로서 로컬푸드에 나타난 음식의 윤리적 의미를 밝혀보고자 한다. 이제는 먹거리 선택이 단순히 개인의 취향이나 식성에 따른 선택이 아니라 윤리적 선택이어야 함을 밝히고, 로컬푸드운동과 관련된 다양한 논의들을 중심으로 세계식량체계와 지역식량체계라는 분석 틀을 통해 글로벌푸드와 로컬푸드의 장단점을 살펴보았고, 구체적인 로컬푸드운동으로는 농민시장과 공동체지원농업, 그리고 학교급식의 문제를 살펴보았다. 이를 통해 음식과 인간, 자연의 관계에서 생명부정과 생명긍정의 관계를 통해 규정되는 음식을 먹어야 하며, 생명을 살리는 음식과 그렇지 못한 음식의 구분은 인간의 기본적인 먹을 권리에 대한 존중에 근거하고 있다는 로컬푸드의 윤리적 의미를 찾아보았다. 그래서 먹거리의 자연화와 맥락화, 먹거리 생산자와 소비자의 인식전환을 통해 새로운 먹거리공동체 형성의 필요성을 제시하고 있다.
Abstract
This study has tried to analyse the ethical meaning of food in local food as an ethical approach to food. The choice of what we should eat has not only the dimension of personal tastes and appetites, but also the ethical and social dimension. In this study the global food system compared to the local food system with the analysis of versatile discussions about local food movements, i.e. farmers’ market, community supported agriculture(CSA), and school food. In the triad relation among food, human, and nature man should choose and eat food in according to life-affirmation and life-negation. Man should divide the difference between the food which encourage the life phenomenon and which negate the life phenomenon. The ethical meaning of local food lies in that this division is based on the human right of eating. It is important to emphasize the necessity of making new food community with the naturalization of food and the change of recognition of producers and consumers of food.
