개혁주의 신학서론의 구조에 대한 고찰

본 연구는 핫지, 바빙크, 반틸, 스파이크만의 신학서론을 비교 연구하여 개혁주의 신학서론이 갖고 있는 특징을 파악하고, 21세기에 맞는 새로운 신학서론(prolegomena)의 구성 방안을 제시하는 것을 목표로 하였다. 종교개혁 이후 개혁파 정통주의 시대에까지 신학서론은 매우 방대해졌고 지금도 그 유산을 딛고 신학서론이 전개되고 있다. 과거 수백 년간 발전되어온 신학서론은 주제를 다루는 방식이나 논증 방식이 너무 복잡한 면이 있다. 또한 최근의 신학적 발견이 포착한 신학서론 구성의 주요 원리들이 반영되어야 할 필요도 있다. 본 연구는 비교 분석을 통해 신학서론 구성에 반영해야 할 시사점으로 5가지를 도출하였다. 그 시사점들은 창조주-피조물의 이층적 실재론을 전제할 것, 신학 지식의 유비적 특성을 제시할 것, 계시 수납의 수단으로서의 신앙을 강조할 것, 신학 작업의 도구로 신자들의 이성을 사용할 것, 간결하고 명료할 것 등이다. 마지막으로 본 연구는 신학서론이 필수적으로 갖추어야할 필수 구성 요소를 4가지로 정하여 제시하였다. 그 구성 요소들은 신학의 개념, 신학의 방법, 계시의 특징, 성경의 속성이다.
Abstract
This paper investigated prolegomena of Hodge, Bavinck, Van Til, and Spykman comparatively, so as to find important features and to propose a better prolegomena structure. From the Reformation to the Reformed orthodox tradition, prolegomena had been enriched vastly. Even today’s prolegomena also are suggested based on those historical heritages. Although prolegomena developed during several hundred years up to now are too complicated in arraying subject matters and reasoning methods. This study found five implications to construct a better prolegomena structure. Those are ‘presuppose creator-creation two layer structure,’ ‘presuppose analogical characteristic of theological knowledge,’ ‘emphasize faith as a mean of receiving revelation,’ ‘use believer’s reason as an instrument to do theology,’ and ‘be succinct and clear.’ Finally, this study proposes four essential components necessary to prolegomena. Those are ‘the concept of theology’, ‘methods or principles of theology,’ ‘revelation,’ and ‘the Scripture.’
