Abstract
Grits and Growth mindsets are key components of social-emotional learning that can help students grow morally. Self-realization, flow, positive psychology, self-efficacy, self-control, etc. act as the main motives of behavior and are concepts related to grit and growth mindset. Grit means an indomitable will to set a specific goal for the future and not bend it. Growth Mindset is a belief that you can grow. Grit and growth mindset are closely related to each other. Grit and growth mindset also affect interpersonal relationships. Grit and growth mindset are applicable to the area of moral growth. People with growth mindsets generally promote self-efficiency and are positive about pro-social motivation and behavioral tendencies. Efforts such as ritual repetition and habits are important for improving grit and growth mindset. Therefore, the Socratic questioning with Grit and Growth Mindset can be devised in the moral education field. Strategies for the use of questioning could suggest the preparation of (1) questioning considering class and student characteristics, (2) provision of individual and group statements, (3) analysis of individual and group questioning responses and feedback, (4) process and reflection of results. Students should be able to think for themselves, choose for themselves and respond autonomously to an epilogue.
