본 논문은 도덕과 인공지능 윤리교육의 핵심 주제를 인간과 인공지능의 관계로 설정하고, 이를 도덕심리학적 관점으로 살펴보는 것을 목적으로 한다. 인간과 인공지능의 관계에 대한 기술적(descriptive) 논의에 도덕심리학은 새로운 통찰을 제시할 수 있다. 특히, 인공지능에 대한 사람들의 인식 및 인공지능이 유발하는 감정에 따라 인공지능의 도덕적 지위에 대한 인식이 달라질 수 있다. 그리고 이는 인공지능과의 관계 설정에 영향을 미칠 수 있다. 그러므로 인간과 인공지능의 관계를 중심으로 한 도덕과 인공지능 윤리교육은 인공지능에 대한 학생들의 인식을 다룰 필요가 있으며, 인공지능과의 관계 설정에 따라 도덕적 동기 및 도덕적 행위 평가가 달라질 수 있음에 주목할 필요가 있다.
Abstract
This article aims to examine the relationship between human and AI as major subject of AI ethics education in moral education from perspective of moral psychology. Moral psychology provides fresh insight on the descriptive discussion on the relationship between human and AI. In particular, perceptions of AI and the emotions it elicits would affect the recognition of its moral status. This, in turn, would impact how we establish relationships with AI. Therefore, AI ethics education through school moral education centered on the human-AI relationship needs to address students' perceptions of AI. It is also important to note that the evaluation of moral motivation and moral actions may vary depending on the relationship established with AI.
