한국인 학습자의 러시아어 분절음에 나타나는 중간언어 연구

본 연구의 목적은 한국인 학습자가 러시아어 분절음 발음을 습득하는 과정에 나타나는 중간언어의 특징을 살피는 것이다. 이를 위해 한국인 학습자의 초급, 중급 과정을 추적하여 학습 단계별 특징을 살펴보았다. 실험 결과 다음과 같은 중간언어의 특징을 보여주었다. 먼저 모음 발음 시 원어민은모음의 조음점이 뚜렷하게 구분되지만 한국인 학습자는 1학년, 2학년 과정 모두 а, я, о, у를 제외한 나머지 모음의 조음점이 겹쳐졌다. 그리고 한국인 학습자는 러시아어 단모음 ы의 발음을 이와유사한 한국어 이중모음 ‘의’로 대체하려는 특징을 보였다. 유성 파열음의 발음에서는 원어민의 발음시 나타나지 않는 유성음 앞 모음 [ы] 삽입의 예를 볼 수 있는데, 이는 한국인 학습자가 유성 파열음을 발음할 때 성대 진동 대신에 모음 삽입으로 대체하려는 중간언어의 특징으로 볼 수 있다. 경자음과 연자음의 발음에서 2학년 과정의 한국인 학습자는 원어민과 마찬가지로 두 그룹 간 F2 값을 구분하지만, F1 값은 원어민과 차이를 보였다. 즉, 원어민은 모음 발음에서는 혀의 높낮이에 따른 음성적 단서 F1 값의 차이가 없지만 2학년 과정의 한국인 학습자는 경자음과 연자음 간 F1 값의 차이를보여 연자음을 조음할 때 혀의 전후 위치뿐 아니라 높낮이의 위치도 달리하여 두 그룹을 구분하는경향을 보인다.
Abstract
This paper examines the characteristics of Korean learners’ interlanguage that appear in Russian segments. In this paper’s experiment, the subjects participated in the 1st and 2nd year courses, respectively. The results of the two groups were compared. As a result of the experiment, some characteristics of interlanguage were found. In pronunciation of vowels, Korean learners overlapped the place of articulation of vowels excluding ‘а’, ‘я’, ‘о’, and ‘у’ in both the first and second year courses. And Korean learners replace ‘ы’ in Russian with the diphthong ‘의’ in Korean. In pronunciation of voiced stops, Korean learners insert a vowel [ы] before voiced stop. It means that they attempt to replace the vocal cord vibrations of voiced stop with vowel insertion. In the pronunciation of hard consonants and soft consonants, Korean learners in the 2nd year course distinguish F2 values between the two groups like native speakers, but show differences in F1 values from native speakers. It means that they distinguish not only the front and rear positions of the tongue, but also the height of the tongue when articulating soft consonant.
