전치사 본래의 의미가 퇴색되고, 어휘적 관계보다는 추상적인 문법적 관계를 나타내는 전치사구사용이 증가하는 ‘전치사 확장’(экспансия предлогов) 현상은 현대 러시아어 전치사 사용 양상의주류가 되었다. 특히 전치사 ПО가 이에 해당하는데, 비전치사 구문뿐만 아니라 전치사 О, ЗА, ДЛЯ, НА를 대체하기도 한다. 비전치사 구문의 ‘ПО+여격’ 형태 전치사 구문으로 변환이 두드러지면서 다수 연구자가 전치사 ПО 어결합 사용 증가 현상에 주목했다. 전치사 ПО의 활동성은 전치사 ПО의본연적 의미인 장소, 시간의 구체적 의미가 퇴색(размывание)되면서 부차적 의미인 분배(дистриб утивные), 인과(каузальные), 제한(ограничительные)의 추상적 의미로 확장되어 발현되는 현상으로 풀이된다. 사회 평론체(публицистический)와 공식 사무체(официально-деловый)에서 활발히 사용되는전치사 ПО는 ‘일반적 관련성’(общее касательство) 의미를 나타낸다. 전치사 ПО의 이러한 의미는 종속 명사로 표현된, 해당 분야에 국한된 일반적 관련성의 의미를 나타낸다는 점에서 필자에게편의성을 담보하기도 하지만 대상들 간 관련성에 대한 구체적 기술이 배제된 채 단지 관련성이 존재한다는 사실만을 나타내므로 독자의 분명한 이해에 제약으로 작용할 수 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 벨치코프(Бельчиков Ю. А., 2007), 발기나(Валгина Н. С., 2001), 비노그라도프(Виноградов В. В., 1986), 골룹(Голуб И. Б., 2005), 고르바체비치(Горбачевич К. С., 1971), 그라우디나(Граудина Л. К., 2001), 구리야노바(Гурьянова С. А., 2023), 레본티나(Лев онтина И. Б., 2012, 2021), 오르로바(Орлова А. А., 2024), 나우모바(Наумова Н. Г., 2019), 프로코포비치(Прокопович Н. Н., 1966), 시베도바(Шведова Н. Ю., 1966) 등의 선행연구를 바탕으로, 먼저 문체론과 표준어 규정에 따른 전치사 ПО 사용 유형을 세부적으로 기술하고, 현대 러시아에서 발생하는 전치사 확장 현상의 특징과 원인에 대해 살펴보았다. 본 연구에서 논의한 내용과 예시로 든 사례는 언중의 언어 사용 습관과 그에 따른 규정이 오늘날어떻게 변화하고 있는지 보여준다. 표준어 규정은 객관적인 사실이라기보다 사회적 합의의 결과이다. 때로는 사전에 등재되기도 전에 새로이 변화하기도 하고, 오류를 포함하고 있는 잘못된 표현이널리 보편성을 확보하게 되면서 새로운 기준이 되기도 한다. 기존의 규정에서 벗어난 표현이 새로운기준이 되는 것은 해당 표현의 사용 빈도, 공통 규범과의 합치 정도, 그에 대한 수요 등 여러 요인에달려있다.
Abstract
This article presents the results of a study on the identification of features of the semantics and functioning of the preposition ПО in modern Russian. The relevance of the study is due to the need to study changes in the field of the functioning of prepositions (in particular, the preposition ПО occurring along the lines of modern language processes. One of the most polysemantic prepositions of the Russian language, the preposition ПО currently demonstrates an increased activity (it is used in various constructions with different types of syntactic relations), which leads to the blurring of its semantics. In this regard, the aim was set to identify and describe meanings of the preposition ПО that are the most active in modern Russian and features of their implementation in the texts of the scientific and official functional styles. The author analyzed scientific literature on this issue and tried build a classification its meanings. The interrelation of some meanings of the preposition ПО with the scientific and official styles was established on the basis of the frequency of this preposition’s usage in them. The analysis can improve the semantic structure of the preposition ПО in modern Russian. The discussion and illustrative examples presented in this study demonstrate how language usage habits and rules are evolving today. Standardized language rules are the result of social consensus rather than objective facts; they can change even before being documented in dictionaries, and sometimes becoming the new norm as incorrect expressions that contain errors become the new norm as they gain widespread acceptance. Whether a deviant expression becomes the new standard depends on several factors, including its frequency of use, its alignment with common norms, and the demand for it.
