초록

본 연구는 전라북도 여성 결혼이민자의 개인적 연결망을 유형별로 구분하고 그 특성을 확인하는 것이 연구의 목적이다. 이를 위하여 여성 결혼이민자의 개인적 연결망의 구조적 특성과 상호작용적 특성을 중심으로 유형화를 시도하였다. 본 연구에서는 ‘2015년 전북다문화가족 실태조사’ 자료에 포함된 여성 결혼이민자 5,347명을 대상으로 개인적 연결망의 내용과 구조를 분석하고 그 결정 요인들을 규명하였으며 유형화를 시도해보았다. 분석 결과 집락분석을 통하여 여성 결혼이민자의 개인적 연결망은 한국가족형, 동족가족형, 동족타인형, 비동족타인형, 지원기관중심형의 다섯 개 유형으로 분류되었으며, 거주기간, 학력, 한국어 실력, 남편 학력, 가족결정권, 가구소득, 부부불화, 자녀 유무, 시부모 동거 여부, 도시 거주 여부, 출신국에 따라 연결망의 유형에 차이가 있었다. 이러한 결과는 여성 결혼이민자의 개인적 연결망 유형이 향후 여성 결혼이민자를 설명하는 패턴 중심 접근법(pattern centered approach) 변수이자 소속되기(belonging) 실천의 변수로서 여타 피설명변수에 대한 적용에 활용될 것으로 기대한다.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the social network types of female marriage immigrants and to identify differences among types by social network. the current study examines the composition and structure of personal networks of female marriage immigrants and their determinants and then cluster-analyze the female marriage immigrants' personal networks. Data from 'A Survey on Multicultural Families in Jeollabuk-do 2015' was used for analyzing 5,347 female marriage immigrants in Jeollabuk-do, Korea. The results showed that social network type of female marriage immigrants were divided into five groups which were ‘Korean Family’, ‘Original Family’, ‘Ethnic Alters’, ‘Alters’, ‘Civil Society Actors’ focused type. There were differ in social network type by female marriage immigrants' general characteristics. These results are expected to be utilized in the application to explanatory variables as a variable for the pattern centered approach to explain female marriage immigrants and a variable of the practice of belonging.
