데리다와 유대주의의 관계는 데리다의 철학을 새롭게 이해하는 하나의 계기일 수 있다. 하버마스는 데리다의 유대주의적 전통을 윤리적 토대와 결부지어 문제제기한 바 있는데, 그의 문제제기는 그와 같은 계기를 제공한다. 우리는 하버마스의 문제제기를 따라가면서 그에 대한 데리다의 답변을 재구성해보는 방식으로 데리다의 사유를 살펴보고자 한다. 데리다의 유대인 호명 경험은 그의 초월론 철학이 가진 독특한 면모, 최소-극 초월론의 면모를 잘 보여준다. 이 최소-극 초월론은 또한 내재적으로 윤리적인 차원에 이르게 된다. 이러한 탐구를 통해서, 우리는 하버마스의 질문에 대한 데리다의 대답이 언어적 행위로부터 타자와의 아포리아적 관계를 끌어내는 데 있음을 알게 될 것이다.
Abstract
The relationship between Derrida and Judaism may be an opportunity for a new understanding of Derrida’s philosophy. The question of Habermas on the relation of jewish religious tradition and ultimate foundation of ethics in Derrida would be such opportunity. We would like to construct Derrida's response to the Habermas’s question. Derrida’s Jewish interpellation experience illustrates the peculiarity of his transcendental philosophy: minimal-ultra transcendentalism. This minimal-ultra transcendentalism also contains intrinsically and essentially an ethical dimension. Through this study on the minimal-ultra trancendentalism, we will see that Derrida’s answer to Habermas’s question lies in eliciting an aporetic relationship with others from linguistic performance.
