This study is to verify the effects of mentoring on self-efficacy and dance achievement of dance majors. For that, this study selected students and professional dancers as a population in 2019 and surveyed a total of 330 dancers with explanations about the survey. It conducted frequency analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis by using SPSS 25.0 program for data analysis. Through those research procedures, this study had results as follows. First, it researched effects of mentoring on self-efficacy and its results are as follows. instruction function, exposure function, and acceptance function among subcategories of mentoring had positive effects on self-efficacy, and consultation function and role function did not have effects. Second, it researched effects of mentoring on dance achievement and its results are as follows. Only consultation function among subcategories of mentoring had positive effects on dance achievement, and instruction function, exposure function, role function, and acceptance function did not have effects. Third, it researched effects of self-efficacy on dance achievement and its results are as follows. activity initiative ability and activity endurance ability among subcategories of self-efficacy had positive effects on dance achievement, and activity performance ability and activity overcoming ability did not have effects.
