초록

This study evaluated the effects of subjective health perception and physical activity on metabolic syndrome according to the presence or absence of obesity. Using data from the National Health and Nutrition Survey, 3,081 adults were selected as subjects. Body mass index, subjective health perception, amount of physical activity, and metabolic syndrome according to the presence or absence of obesity were analyzed by Rao-Scott chi-square test. Logistic regression analysis was performed to analyze the risk of metabolic syndrome according to health status and physical activity level. As a result, when subjective health awareness was good, the risk of metabolic syndrome was significantly lower for both men and women. In addition, the risk of metabolic syndrome was the lowest in men at 150-300min/week for normal weight and 300min/week for obese women. In conclusion, the effect of subjective health cognition and physical activity level on the metabolic syndrome risk rate according to the presence or absence of obesity in Korean adults can be confirmed.
