Xiao Hong’s writings and thoughts were alien to the mode of Resistance Literature after the late of 1930’s because of her individual experience and her perspective of the feminism. She made a deep reflection on the relation between the humanity and the holly Resistance War, between the individual and the nation. Xiao Hong represented the pioneer, who built up an independent discourse of the Chinese female intellectuals in the wartime context.
