병원간호사의 Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19)에 대한 지식과 건강신념이 COVID-19 감염 관리 수행도에 미치는 영향

초록

연구배경: 본 연구는 COVID-19 유행 시기에 병원간호사의 COVID-19 감염 관리 수행도에 영향을 미치는 요인을파악하고자 실시되었다. 방법: 본 연구는 서울 및 경기 소재의 3개 대학병원에서근무하는 간호사 269명을 대상으로 진행한 서술적 조사 연구이다. COVID-19에 대한 지식, 건강신념, 감염 관리 수행도 도구를 이용하여 측정하였다. 결과: COVID-19에 대한 지식과 COVID-19에 대한 건강신념 중 지각된 심각성 및 지각된 유익성은 COVID-19 감염 관리 수행도와 유의한 상관관계를 나타냈다. COVID-19 감염 관리 수행도에 영향을 미친 요인은 COVID-19 의심또는 확진 환자 간호 경험, COVID-19에 대한 지식 그리고COVID-19에 대한 건강신념 중 지각된 유익성으로 나타났다. 결론: 본 연구 결과를 바탕으로 COVID-19 감염 관리 수행도 향상을 위해 COVID-19 간호 경험을 증진시키고 지식을 향상시키며, 지각된 유익성을 높일 수 있게 하는 중재 프로그램이 개발되어 제공될 것을 제언한다

Abstract

Background: The purpose of this study was to identify the influence of nurses’ knowledge and health beliefs on infection control performance with regard to coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). Methods: The subjects of the research were 256 nurses working at three different university hospitals, and the survey was progressed from February 9, 2021 to March 18, 2021. The survey measured the subject’s general characteristics, knowledge, and health beliefs about COVID-19, and the infection control performance of the COVID-19. Results: The knowledge, perceived severity, and perceived benefit showed a significant correlation with the infection control performance. The three factors affecting the infection control performance were the nursing experience of patients with suspected or confirmed COVID-19 patients, knowledge of COVID-19, and perceived benefit. Conclusions: In order to improve the infection control performance of COVID-19, it is essential to establish infection control strategies enhancing experience, knowledge, and perceived benefit in terms of COVID-19.
