본 연구의 목적은 보치아 전임지도자의 전문성 형성과정을 심층적으로 탐색하여 보치아 지도자의 전문성 개발 과정과 실천 경험을 설명할 수 있는 이론적 모형을 개발하고, 향후 보치아 지도자 교육과정의 방향을 제시하는데 있다. 이론적 표본추출(Theoretical sampling)을 통해 전국 시·도 장애인체육회에 소속되어 있는 보치아 지도자 5명을 연구 참여자로 선정하였다. 결과는 Strauss와 Corbin(1997)의 근거이론 방법을 적용하여 개념 도출 및 패러다임을 구성하고 상황모형을 개발하였다. 개방코딩 결과 249개의 개념이 도출되었다. 이를 다시 40개의 하위 범주로 구성하였으며, 하위범주는 19개의 상위 범주로 최종 범주화하였다. 중심현상에 영향을 미치는 인과적 조건의 범주로 ‘보치아 스포츠 알게 됨’, ‘보치아 체험’, ‘지도자 선택 동기’, ‘지도자 현실과 이상과의 차이’, ‘채용환경’으로 확인되었다. 인과적 조건과 더불어 중심 현상에 영향을 미치는 상황이나 구조적 조건인 맥락적 조건의 범주는 ‘중증장애 이해부족’, ‘중증장애인의 보치아 가치’로 나타났다. 중심현상은 범주 관계의 작용/상호작용에 대한 중심 생각이나 사건으로 ‘전문성 부족 인식’, ‘열악한 훈련환경’으로 범주화 되었다. 작용/상호작용 전략을 조장하거나 작동하는 조건인 중재적 조건은 ‘인식변화’, ‘과도기’, ‘지도자 학습문화’, ‘보치아 발전’으로 범주화 되었다. 현상에 대처하거나 다루기 위해 취해지는 의도적인 행위나 반응인 작용/상호작용 전략은 ‘다양한 노력하기’, ‘교육경험을 토대로 발전하기’, ‘실천적 지식개발‘로 범주화 되었다. 작용/상호작용 전략의 결과는 ‘전문성 강화’, ‘전문지도자로 꾸준히 발전하기’, ‘중증장애 이해’로 범주화 되었다. 이러한 분석과정을 통해 ‘중증장애 이해를 통한 전임지도자로 발전하기’로 핵심범주를 도출하였고, 최종적으로 ‘보치아 전임지도자의 전문성 형성에 관한 상황모형’을 제시하였다.
Abstract
This study aims to develop a theoretical model that can explain the professional development process and practice experience of a Boccia leader by an in-depth exploration of the professionalism formation process of a full-time Boccia coach, and suggest the direction of the Boccia coach training course in the future. Through theoretical sampling, five full-time coaches of Boccia of the provincial and provincial athletic associations for the disabled. As a result, by applying the grounded theory method of Strauss and Corbin (1997), concept derivation and paradigm were constructed, and a circumstantial model was developed. As a result of open coding, 249 concepts were derived. This was again composed of 40 sub-categories, and the sub-categories were finally categorized into 19 upper categories. As categories of causal conditions affecting the central phenomenon, 'knowing about Boccia sports', 'experiencing Boccia', 'motivation for choosing a leader', 'difference between the leader's reality and ideal', and 'employment environment' were identified. In addition to causal conditions, the categories of contextual conditions, which are situations or structural conditions that affect the central phenomenon, were 'lack of understanding of severe disabilities' and 'boccia values of severely disabled people'. The central phenomenon is a central thought or event about the action/interaction of the categorical relationship, and it was categorized as 'a lack of professional recognition' and 'a poor training environment'. The mediating conditions, which are the conditions that promote or operate the action/interaction strategy, were categorized into 'change of perception', 'transition period', 'leader's learning culture', and 'development of boccia'. Action/interaction strategies, which are intentional actions or responses taken to cope with or deal with the phenomenon, were categorized into 'making various efforts', 'developing based on educational experience', and 'practical knowledge development'. Sixth, the results of the action/interaction strategy were categorized into 'strengthening professionalism', 'continuously developing as a professional leader', and 'understanding severe disability'. Through this analysis process, this study deduced the core category of 'Development as a full-time leader through understanding severe disabilities', and finally presented a ‘situational model for the formation of professionalism of the full-time leader of Boccia’.
