Abstract

Recently word-of-mouth (WOM) in on-line has discussed frequently. This study examined the influencer of on-line WOM who has impact on diffusion of their messages with various contents and formats. Especially, we classified high-eWOM producers who usually had loaded messages once a week, then followed up the diffusion level of their message as frequency of viewing or scraping by other users. To make a sense about this classified group, this study examined both knowledge characteristics about subjective knowledge level, innovativeness, and Internet literacy and interpersonal characteristics about number of online network and social hub level to find out characteristics on eWOM power. Results show that those who loaded various attributes information that were relatively objective and collected others' WOM with vivid format like pictures had most powerful impact on the diffusion of messages. We also examined that their characteristics about consumption and interpersonal properties. The characteristics of influencers indicated that they have dispositions of prosumer like opinion leader or social hub like market maven.
