In this article, I would like to review Chinese-Korean scholarly translations through LI Zehou’s books from the viewpoint of translation studies. The reason for selecting the translation of LI Zehou is that most of his books have been translated and I have also translated one of them so that I think that I have some understanding of LI Zehou's thought and style. The example sentences here are mostly mistranslated, I accidentally found them as a result of my comprehension of the original text in the process of quoting the translations after writing about them with full interest in LI Zehou. In this article, we will first theoretically review the translation studies and cultural translation. after that we analyze the mistranslations, and try to summarize the points to pay attention to in Chinese Korean scholarly translation.
