이 연구는 ‘2017년 고용형태별근로실태조사’를 대상으로 임금 분포의 위치에 따른 집단 간 이질성 효과를 추정할 수 있는 재중심 영향 함수(Recentered Impact Function) 회귀분석 방법을 사용해 규모, 고용 형태, 노조 가입 여부라는 세 요인들을 조합한 결합노동시장지위 및 기타 설명변수들이 전체 임금 분포에 미친 효과들을 분석한다. 이에 따른 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 결합노동시장지위가 임금 수준에 미친 효과는 임금분위에 따라 이중구조가 아니라 다중구조로 나타난다. 둘째, 결합노동시장지위가 임금 불평등에 미친 효과는 전체 분포에서 그것의 상대적 지위에 따라 상이하다. 그에 따라 고용 형태가 규모 또는 노조 효과와 어떻게 결합하느냐에 따라 다양한 분절적인 임금 분포 곡선들이 나타나며, 근로자가 전체 임금 분포에서 차지하는 상대적 위치에 따라 그것이 임금 불평등에미친 효과는 상이하다
Abstract
This paper analyzes the effects of ‘combined labor market status’ and other explanatory variables on the overall distribution of wages using the method of Recentered Influence Function Regressions for the ‘2017 Labor Conditions by Employment Type Survey’, which can estimate the betweenᐨ group heterogeneity effects linked to workers’ relative location along the wage distribution. The research results are as follows: First, the effects of ‘combined labor market status’ on wage levels appear to be multiᐨsegmented, not to be double along the wage distribution. Second, its effects on the inequality of wages are differentiated by its relative position in the overall distribution. It is thus suggested that different segmented wage distribution curves are produced by the combination of employment type with establishment size and/or union effects; that along workers’ relative location in the overall wage distribution its effects on the wage inequality are diverse.
