기호학적 관점에서 도시 건축의 경관디자인 특성 관한 연구

Abstract

The application of semiotics in architectural landscape design can convey specific information toviewers and promote mutual understanding among people from various cultural backgrounds. Modern architecture goes beyond just functionality and puts importance on conveying variousexperiences and meanings to users. This means that architecture encompasses not onlyfunctional elements but also people's emotions, cultural meanings, and social interactions. Modernarchitecture goes beyond simple space as a medium for expressing culture and emotions andplays an important role in mediating the interaction between humans and the environment throughsymbols and design language. This study takes landscape design in urban architecture projects inKorea and China as an analysis example based on semiotic theory as an example, analyzes whatelements are applied to satisfy the three types of symbols of Perth in the project: iconography,indicator, and symbol, and summarizes the design ideology of architectural landscape design froma semiotic perspective. By classifying the methods of using architectural landscape symbolsaccording to the guidelines of symbol theory, conflicts between tradition and new technologiesare resolved, the continuity of traditional cultural forms is secured, and the characteristics ofarchitectural landscape symbols can leave a deep impression on viewers. This paper exploreshow to extract symbolic elements through the intersection of language and architectural design inmetropolitan culture, architecture, and landscape design from a semiotic perspective and applythem to landscape design. Semiotic methodology can convey intrinsic meaning as well as expressexternal forms, and provides important insights for integrating local culture into design andsustaining urban context.
