초록
Fusobacterium vincentii, recently reclassified from subspecies to species status, is an oral anaerobe associated with periodontal disease. We report the draft genome sequence of strain KCOM 2880, isolated from human subgingival plaque. The genome (2,054,883 bp, three contigs) encodes 1,969 genes, including 1,848 proteincoding sequences, 56 pseudogenes, 65 RNA genes, and one CRISPR array. Virulence factor analysis identified 77 genes, including four FadA adhesins, five cell surface proteins, seven autotransporters, serine proteases, a type II secretion system, and TonB-dependent and hemin receptors. These results may provide genomic insights into the pathogenic potential of F. vincentii.
