BCG 분석을 통한 제3자 물류산업 발전방향에 관한 연구: 미국 제3자 물류 산업 분석을 중심으로

본 연구에서는 지정학적 위치와 IT 인프라 측면에서 물류 업을 수행하기 좋은 조건임에도 불구하고 낮은 수준에 머물러 있는 국내 물류 산업의 현 주소를 인식하고 미국의 제3자 물류산업 분석 결과를 토대로 국내 물류 산업의 나아갈 방향을 제시하였다. 미국의 제3자 물류산업을 자산형 국내운송관리, 비자산형 국내운송관리, 국제운송관리, 부가가치형 보관 및 유통의 4가지로 분류하여 각각의 시장성장률과 시장점유율을 비교, 분석 하였으며, 최종적으로 BCG 매트릭스를 구축하였다. 이를 토대로 어떠한 산업이 가장 비젼이 있는 산업인가에 대한 전망을 제시하여 국내 물류 기업이 집중해야 할 방향을 예측하였다.
Abstract
In spite of well-developed IT infrastructures and geographical merits, Korean logistics leg behind. In this paper, we tried to find how to develop the Korean logistics industry through the analysis of U.S.A.'s third party logistics(TPL).The TPL industry is classified by four sectors, domestic transportation management-asset based, domestic transportation management-non asset based, international transportation management and value-added warehouse & distribution. We analyzed market share, market growth based on these four sectors.Through analyzing the market share and growth, we found the TPL industry‘ cash cow. In addition, we suggested the development direction of Korean logistics.
