Abstract

This study focused on the dynamic conservation and utilization of agricultural heritage and the introduction of a rural sharing economy as an alternative to revitalizing the local economy. In fact, agricultural heritage is an important tangible and intangible shared resource of the region, and is a traditional cultural heritage that reflects the region's unique lifestyle. At the same time, it is also a regional social, cultural, and economic resource such as ecological resources, craftsmanship, landscapes related to agricultural activities, and resident participation. It is a report of Accordingly, in this study, we tried to specify the introduction of a rural sharing economy and regional revitalization model as a way to preserve and utilize agricultural heritage, focusing on the case of sericulture in YOUYOU-dong, Buan-gun, which is Korea Important Agricultural Heritage Systems No. 8. First, through a study on rural sharing economy, the possibility of shared economic value in rural areas differentiated from urban areas was examined, and then the pluralistic value of sericulture heritage as a shared economic resource owned by YOUYOU-dong was analyzed and organized. Based on these shared economy resources, we set up a sericulture shared space value creation model for the internal development of YOUYOU-dong, and also presented the possibility of using the community business sharing economy model to generate direct income for YOUYOU-dong residents. The significance of this study is that through the study of YOUYOU-dong's sericulture heritage and rural sharing economy value creation model, the net function of the sharing economy was presented as a system to preserve, manage, and utilize agricultural heritage, as a tool to improve the quality of life of local residents, and as a means to restore the sense of community in YOUYOU-dong.
