본 연구는 질 들뢰즈의 『차이와 반복』을 이론적 기반으로 하여, 지역문화 실천과 사회적경제의 관계를 생성과 반복의 관점에서 재해석하고자 한다. 들뢰즈가 말하는 반복은 동일성의 재현이 아니라 차이를 생성하는 운동이며, 이는 예술과 공동체 실천을 새로운 방식으로 이해할 수 있는 철학적 토대를 제공한다. 본 연구는 이러한 개념을 바탕으로, 사회적경제 기반의 문화예술 조직인 소미다미문화예술협동조합, 사회적협동조합 행복림, 꿈꾸는시어터의 사례를 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 세 조직은 반복되는 문화예술 실천 속에서 새로운 감각, 관계, 주체를 생성해내며, 예술을 공동체 내부의 생성적 실천으로 구성하고 있었다. 또한 사회적경제는 이 실천들이 지속 가능하게 유지될 수 있도록 제도적 기반을 제공하고 있었다. 본 연구는 들뢰즈의 철학이 지역문화와 사회적경제의 접점에서 실천적으로 적용될 수 있음을 보여주며, 감각과 존재, 공동체를 생성하는 문화정책적 사유의 가능성을 제안한다.
Abstract
This study seeks to reinterpret the relationship between local cultural practices and the social economy through the lens of generation and repetition, grounded in Gilles Deleuze’s Difference and Repetition. In Deleuze’s terms, repetition is not the reproduction of sameness but a movement that generates difference, offering a philosophical foundation for rethinking art and community practices. Based on these concepts, this study analyzes the cases of three culture and arts organizations grounded in the social economy: Somidami Culture and Arts Cooperative, Haengboklim Social Cooperative, and Dreaming Theater. The analysis reveals that these organizations, through their repeated cultural and artistic practices, generate new senses, relationships, and subjectivities, positioning art as a generative practice within the community. Furthermore, the social economy provides an institutional foundation that enables these practices to be sustained over time. This study demonstrates the practical applicability of Deleuze’s philosophy at the intersection of local culture and the social economy, and suggests the possibility of cultural policy thinking that fosters the creation of sense, being, and community.
