본 연구의 목적은 생태신학적 통찰이 통일신학에 시사하는 바를 탐구하는 것이다. 생태학은 환경문제를 통해 세계관을 제시하는 학문이다. 그런데, 환경문제인 생태의 위기를 보면 분단 현상과 유사하다는 것을 알 수 있다. 즉, 생태의 위기는 생태의 구성 요소들 간의 관계가 파괴되어 인간과 자연의 생존을 위협하는 것이며, 한반도의 분단 현상은 한반도의 구성원 간의 관계의 파괴로 한반도가 고통하는 것이다. 이와 같이 위기적 상황에 대한 해석이 유사함으로 위기의 원인에 대한 해석도 유사할 수 있다. 물론 외적 현상만 보면 생태 위기는 기후변화와 환경오염으로 나타나고, 분단은 남북 간의 상호 대립과 경쟁, 전쟁준비와 군비강화 등으로 나타난다. 그러나 내적 원리는 같다는 것이다. 생태신학은 생태 위기와 그 원인을 분석하면서 생태신학적 통찰들을 제시하였고, 그 통찰들은 생태 위기의 원인을 제거하고, 생태 위기를 극복하는데 기여하고 있다. 이런 생태신학적 통찰들은 분단을 극복하고, 통일로 나아가는 데 유익할 통찰을 제시한다. 생태신학이 통일신학에 시사하는 점들은 분단과 통일을 이해하는데 유익하다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to explore the implications of ecological theological insights for unified theology. Ecology is a study that presents a world view through environmental problems. Ecological theology is a study that presents a theological world view through environmental problems. The ecological crisis and division phenomenon are similar. In other words, the ecological crisis is the destruction of the relationship between the components of ecology, and its destruction threatens the survival of humans and nature. The division of the Korean Peninsula is the destruction of the relationship between the members of the Korean Peninsula, and the Korean Peninsula suffers from the destruction. Looking only at external phenomena, ecological crisis appears as climate change and environmental pollution, and division appears as mutual confrontation and competition between the two Koreas, war preparation and arms buildup. But the inner principle is the same. Ecological theology presented ecological theological insights while analyzing the ecological crisis and its causes. The insights are contributing to eliminating the causes of the ecological crisis and overcoming the ecological crisis. These ecological and theological insights present insights that will be beneficial in overcoming division and moving toward unification on the Korean Peninsula. The implications of ecological theology for unification theology are beneficial to understanding division and unification on the Korean.
