키에르케고르의 실존주의가 불트만과바르트에게 미친 영향에 대한 연구– 마태복음 6장 24-34절에 대한 설교 분석을 중심으로

Abstract

This is a study of the influence of Kierkegaard's existentialism on Bultmann and Barth. For this purpose, it has compared three sermons of the same Bible text. Through this study, it has been examined how Bultmann and Barth had been influenced by Kierkegaard and how they embraced and deployed their ideas. As a result, it seems that Bultmann and Barth were influenced by Kierkegaard, however they were different from Kierkegaard in sermon theology and interpretation. This study also finds that there is a difference between Bultmann and Barth. Thus, in the sermons of the same text, three persons made different conclusions. Particularly, it is noteworthy that Barth and Bultmann have different conclusions, which are contradictory. Bultmann concluded that humans could escape from the current anxiety by leaping to the spiritual level. Barth concluded that humans were able to escape from anxious reality only by believing in God, not by their own ability. Bultmann and Barth had different opinions in the sermon theology and interpretation. So Bultmann and Barth’s ideas were derived from different conclusions. In other words, Bultmann maintained existential theology and interpreted the Bible as existentialism. And Barth claimed the theology of God's Word and saw the word of God coming down to man by God. The existentialism of Kierkegaard influenced both Bultmann and Barth although their sermons draw other conclusions from their theological and interpretational perspectives, even in the same text. From this point of view, this study argues that preach theology and interpretive viewpoints are very important for preachers.
