예언자들의 담론에 근거한 통일 논쟁 방향 찾기 - 대화이론과 상호텍스트성을 중심으로

초록

평화통일이라는 조국의 염원이 진행되는 과정에서 그릇된 통일 논쟁으로 인한 사회적 정치적 마찰과 문제들은 사회정치적인 분야를 넘어서서 경제적인 이념적 문제를 일으키며 더 나아가 기독교 신앙 공동체에서도 공동체의 분열을 심화하고 반목을 조장할 수 있는 양극화 현상의 위험을 초래하였다. 그러므로 이 연구는 기독교와 구약성서가 공동체 안의 분쟁과 논쟁에 대하여 충분한 종교적 지도 역할과 해석학적 대안을 제시해야 하며 이는 이사야(사 2:4b), 미가(미 4:3b) 그리고 요엘(욜 3:10)과 같은 예언자들이 나눈 소위 ‘칼과 보습’ 논쟁 담론의 올바른 해석을 통하여 가능함을 주장한다. 특별히 공시적 읽기를 통하여 예언자들이 유사 본문을 통해 서로 다른 정치적 관점을 피력하며 상호 대화하고 있음을 인지하여, 건강한 정치적 논쟁이란 신앙 공동체에서도 정치적 토론이 공동체를 와해하는 요소가 아니라 서로 담아야 하는 포용성의 발현이라는 것을 설명한다. 이를 위해 바흐친의 대화 이론과 발전된 상호텍스트성을 통하여 타자가 없이는 자신의 목소리가 없음을 인정하고, 타자를 존중하는 상호관련성을 중심으로 다성성을 가진 성서의 유기적 역할을 조명한다. 결국 경청을 통한 대화를 중심으로 상호의 이해관계를 존중하고 이후 올바른 결정과 이를 지속할 수 있는 건강한 대화를 위하여 성서는 신앙 공동체를 위한 종교적 지도 역할을 해야만 한다. 본 연구는 지금까지 통일에 대한 기독교적 접근이 사회적 토론을 포괄하는 학제 간의 대화에 있어서 한계가 있었다는 것을 지적하고, 이를 보완할 가능성을 모색하여 실질적 통일 논쟁에 참여하여 성서적 회복 방안과 더 나아가 통일 이후의 사회정치적 논쟁 이슈들을 미리 대비할 수 있는 기독교적 지도자 양성 방안을 도출하도록 기여한다.

Abstract

In the process of achieving peaceful Korean reunification, present sociopolitical conflicts and following problems after social debate have created a more chaotic space where people face with economic and ideological confusion. Furthermore, it seems that the danger of social polarization has been quietly just in the middle of our faith community threatening its unity as well as creating antagonism. This study asks not only how Christianity and the Old Testament play an important role as a leader in this situation, but also in what ways they present a proper hermeneutic counter- proposal about the trouble. I argue that proper interpretation of the so-called ‘swords into plowshares’ discourse of the prophets such as Isaiah(Isa. 2:4b), Micah(Mic. 4:3b), and Joel(Joel 3:10) is the first step for these questions. In particular, my synchronic reading of these texts addresses the fact that the prophets did appeal, clarify their attitude on the issues, and debate each other, which means that proper political debate is not a source of hatred to break up any faith community. Rather, it is a manifestation of magnanimity that has to work together. For this task, as Bahktin’s notions of dialogism and intertextuality explain, we have to accept that there is no one’s own voice without others who listen to it. This study sheds light on the role of the Bible which has polyphonic voices about the respect of others. Finally, faith communities need to respect understandings of relationship in the way of discourse among them. Then, through the process of making the right decision and healthy conversation to maintain the balance of outcomes, the Bible has to teach faith communities about the fact that even the Bible includes polyphonic voices of the prophets. This study points that the previous Christian approach toward Korean reunification shows its limit and that people need to join in practical discussion of Korean reunification in the way of dialogism which first asks you to acknowledge others to find the healthy living throughout the reunification debate. Therefore, this study encourages you to find the power of the intertextual reading of the biblical message which teaches us how to restore our wounded society as well as how to find the way of training Christian leaders who are even going to prepare ministerial answers to any possible social conflict generated after reunification.
