종교사회복지의 트릴레마에 관한 고찰

이 연구는 종교와 사회복지를 둘러싼 거시적 환경과 종교사회복지의 정체성과 존립에 따르는 여러 딜레마들에 관한 논의를 다룬다. 구체적으로는 복지혼합에서 정치적 자원봉사주의는 종교적 이타주의를 어떻게 활용하는지, 사회복지 전달체계의 전문성과 종교적 자원의 이타성 사이에 존재하는 딜레마의 내용은 무엇인지 주로 고찰하였다. 이로써 사회복지 전문가주의, 정부의 진화된 자원봉사주의, 종교의 보수적 이타주의가 트릴레마를 형성하고 있음을 발견하고 도식화하였다. 이 결과에 따라 종교 조직의 폐쇄성을 넘어서는 연대의 지점을 확보하고 협력을 구축함으로써 새롭고 효과적인 종교사회복지의 실천 모형이 될 수 있도록 트릴레마의 지점들 간에 매개구조를 요청한다.
Abstract
This study deals with discussions on the macro environment surrounding religion and social welfare, and the various dilemmas related to the identity and existence itself of religious practices in social welfare services. Specifically, I examined how political volunteerism utilizes religious altruism in the welfare mix, and what the content of the dilemma exists between the professionalism of the social welfare delivery system and the altruism of religious resources. Through this, it was discovered and schematized that social welfare professionalism, the government's evolved volunteerism, and religious conservative altruism form a trilemma. According to this result, I request a mediation structure between the points of the trilemma so that it can become a new and effective practice model for religious practices in social welfare services by securing a point of solidarity and establishing cooperation that goes beyond the closedness of religious organizations.
