Abstract
This study explores the frequency of responses and differences in perceptions of faith and values among elderly Christians based on their demographic information using open-ended questions. The study sample was 457 seniors of Christian faith, and the responses regarding their faith were analyzed by frequency analysis, and the differences in perceptions according to demographic information were analyzed by Fisher's exact test. The study found that seniors' perceptions of God were in the following order: God’s attributes, God’s acts, personal relationship with God, savior, and other. The expressions of love for God were religious acts, gratitude, good deeds, obedience, and other, and interests of the seniors were faith-related, health, personal needs, and other. The gratitude topics were faith, what God has done for them, health, everything and other, and the prayer topics were faith, peace for self and the family, peace for the country, peace for church, the future (death), and other. Reasons for evangelism were salvation, God's attributes and acts, God's favor to us, other, and bequests were faith-related, messages of gratitude and love, personal requests, and other.
