초록
This paper examines the experiences of Muslim diasporas in Europe and North America, as they navigate complex processes of historical memory, settlement and future expectations. Drawing on historical migration and contemporary situations, the study investigates how Muslim communities balance residence with the preservation of their cultural and religious identities. It highlights the help jurists provide to Muslim communities dealing with the challenges they face, as well as the attempts policymakers make to settle Muslim diasporas. Ultimately, the paper argues that Muslim diasporas are active agents shaping their host societies and envisage their future in an increasingly interconnected and contested world. The research draws not only on literature but also findings from the field.
