Abstract The Missiological Answer of the Korean Church on the Pain of the Foreign Diaspora in Korea Gwi-sam Cho, Professor of Hansei University This paper aim for the missiological answer of the Korean Church on the pain of the foreign diaspora in Korea. The influx of foreign workers began after the 1980's in Korea. There are many types of migrations in Korea. The most common type is to work in Korea and the other types are the international marriage, students from abroad, and businessmen. There were 619 foreign ladies who married Korean males in 1990. However, there are 30,286 foreign ladies who married Korean males in 2006. The ratio increased 49 times from before. The diaspora in Korea brout with it a lot of problems. There are abused laborers, lock of payment, labor accidents, breaking of labpr codes, sexual violence, international marriage problems, and many other. The writer aim for mission strategy for the diaspora in Korea. First, the acceptance of the gospel through a change in world view. Second, mutural understanding of inclusive multi-culture. Third, family evangelization through social welfare for the diaspora. Fourth, education through cyber and crisis response by network. Fifth, mission strategy through centripetal mission to centrifugal mission. The writer believers that God loves the Korean church and gave us a mission in which the Korean church will minister for the world mission. Now, the Korean church has this opportunity. Is there any period in the 5,000 years of Korean history, in which we had more foreigners than nowadays? It is very sad when we leave our homes. Thus, we cannot fully comfort the sorrows of the diaspora in Korea. Yet, we cannot avoid our task if the role of the church is a missiolgial existence.
