This study has been carried out to seek an appropriate direction of mission towards foreign migrant workers in Korea, where recently the number of migrant workers from other countries particularly from two-third countries has been increasing. For this,the biblical foundations and the history of migrant mission have been dealt with. Mission practice of Jesus and the early christian churches have been taken as a model to grasp principles of mission for migrant workers. The factors contributing to the increasing the number of migrants from other countries to Korea, the circumstances of the migrants and the change of Korean society from this tendency have been indicated. Within the changing Korean society, the church is accordingly required to change the understanding of the migrant workers in order to carry out the mission practice for them. In order to seek the direction of mission practice, over all recognition of the living circumstance,psychological conditions andinner problems and needs of the migrants workers in Korean society should be considered. Their frustrating circumstances can be used as a step stone to evangelize them. The specific characteristics of the migrants according to the country and ethnic nation should be analysed. Formation of an appropriate relationship for Korean churches with the migrants should be essential. In accordance, cooperation of relevant group and organizations and development of missionary system will secure the efficiency of proclamation of the gospel.
