초록

Reading and writing are the meeting of other people's thoughts and simultaneously a conversation with oneself. They signify a coming together of the highest spiritual values and the meaning of life as mankind has constructed it. They are the language of self-expression which indicates the life history of man in private or public. Writing is a social action which makes known the thoughts, feelings, and the story of life in man. It is also the mental communication of the social significance of the excavation of meaning. By writing we meet social others and express public activities which deliver our own thought and intention. Therefore we can say that writing is the self-expression and the internal action of self-recognition. This article aims to treat how philosophy relates to writing and how they are connected with cultural life as a human task. Here I will discuss how medical writing as an art of philosophical writing can be formed. On the other hand, I will also discuss how writing relates to the classics which provide the backbone and the spirit of writing. In conclusion, using the concept of communication and self-expression as a clue, I will deal with the meaning of 'the philosophy of writing' and discuss how this issue relates to the experiment of thinking and self-creation.
