정보교류와 온생명 개념에 기초한 ‘온문화’ 패러다임의고찰과 학제간 융합연구 모형 제시

정보혁명이 지구촌 전체를 연결하며 인간의 삶을 정보 중심으로 크게 변화시키고 있다. 정보 중심의 사회변동에 대한 인식에 토대를 둔이 논문은 생명과 문화에 대한 근원적인 성찰의 필요성을 제기하고, ‘문화란 거대한 생명체와 같다’라는 제안으로부터 출발한다. 이에 따라복잡계 물리와 정보교류 관점으로 생명과 문화에 대한 새로운 해석을시도한 후에 온생명 개념에 기초하여 온문화 패러다임을 제시한다. 온문화 패러다임은 정보혁명이 유발한 경제적 양극화, 생태계 파괴, 문화획일화 등의 부정적인 결과들의 극복을 위해 자연-인간-사회가 유기적으로 연결되고 화해하는 문화 형식이다. 또한 오늘날 문화의 의미와 위상이 다원적이고 다차원적으로 확장됨에 따라 온문화의 분석틀로서 관념⋅조직⋅기술의 세 가지 축으로 구성되는 인문학⋅사회과학⋅자연과학의 학제간 융합연구 모형을 제안한다.
Abstract
Recognizing that the information revolution connects the earth as a w hole and changes the human life entirely into information-oriented one, t his paper raises the need for fundamental reflection on life and culture a nd begins with the proposition that culture is the same as a huge life fo rm. We thus attempt to interpret life and culture newly, from the perspe ctive of the physics of complex systems and information exchange, and present the paradigm of global culture based on the concept of global lif e. The global culture paradigm is a cultural format in which nature, hu mans, and society are organically connected and reconciled, in order to o vercome such negative consequences as economic polarization, destructio n of ecosystems, and cultural uniformization caused by the information r evolution. Finally, as the meanings and phases of culture are diversified and expanded in a multi-dimensional fashion, we propose a model for in terdisciplinary research in humanities and social and natural sciences, wh ich consists of three axes of ideology, organization, and technology, as a n analysis framework of global culture.
