빌립의 사마리아 복음전도와 선교신학적 의의 - 행 8:4-25을 중심으로

초록

본 논문의 목적은 사도행전 8:4-25에 기록된 빌립의 사마리아 전도를 주석하여 복음주의 신학에서 그 의의를 제시하는 데 있다. 사도행전 8:4-25은 빌립의 사마리아인들에 대한 복음전도를 묘사한다. 그의 복음전도는 예수 그리스도의 지상명령의 성취됨을 의미한다(1:8). 사마리아인들이 예수 그리스도를 믿고 하나님께 구원받는 것은 빌립의 복음전도 때문이다. 빌립의 복음전도를 통해 그들은 모세오경뿐만 아니라 구약 전체를 정경으로 받아들임으로써, 하나님의 완전한 계시를 받아들인다. 이것은 그들이 예수 그리스도를 모세와 같은 종말론적 예언자 타헤브(Taheb)가 아닌 그들의 구세주 메시아로 인정했음을 의미한다. 또한 하나님께서는 사도 베드로와 요한의 기도를 통해 사마리아인들에게 성령을 주셔서 예루살렘 교회와 같이 그들이 하나님의 은혜로 구원을 받았다는 사실을 알게 하셨다. 빌립의 복음전도와 함께 마술사 시몬을 통해 특별히 숙고해야 할 선교신학의 의의는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 교회는 주님의 크신 명령을 따라 세상 끝날까지 복음전도의 사역을 그치지 말아야 한다. 둘째, 교회는 번영신학이나 세속주의와 같은 비기독교적 견해를 용납하지 않아야 한다. 셋째, 교회는 오늘날 포스트모던 시대의 혼합주의와 다원주의를 경계해야 한다. 그러므로 저자는 복음전도가 하나님의 구원의 작정이므로 우리 사회의 많은 변화와 다양성 속에서도 교회는 오직 예수 그리스도의 위대한 명령만을 수행하는 선교를 실천해야 한다고 강조한다.

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to annotate Philip’s evangelism in Samaria recorded in Acts 8:4-25, thereby presenting its significance in evangelical theology. Acts 8:4-25 portrays Philip’s evangelism to the Samaritans. His evangelism signifies the fulfillment of Jesus Christ’s great commission(1:8). It is because of Philip’s evangelism that the Samaritans believe in Jesus Christ and are saved by God. They accept the complete revelation of God by accepting not only the Pentateuch, but also the entire Old Testament as canonical through Philip’s evangelism. This means that they recognized Jesus Christ as their Messiah, the savior, not just as Taheb as an eschatological prophet like Moses. Also, God endowed the Holy Spirit to the Samaritans through the prayers of the apostles, Peter and John, letting them know that they, like the church in Jerusalem, were saved by God's grace. Along with Philip's evangelism, the significance in missionary theology that must be considered in particular through Simon, the magician, is as follows. First, the church must not stop the ministry of evangelism until the end of time according to the Lord's great command. Second, the church must not tolerate non-Christian views such as prosperity theology and secularism. Third, the church must be wary of syncretism and pluralism in the postmodern era today. Thus, the author emphasizes that evangelism is God's decree of salvation, so the church must practice missions that only carry out the great command of Jesus Christ even amidst so much change and diversity in our society.
