지난 세기 동안에 어떤 신학분야보다도 선교신학 분야는 세속주의에 의해 많은 영향을 받았다. 선교신학은 그 특성상 항상 변화하는 선교현장과 세상에서의 다양한 문화현상들에 대한 적절한 복음 선교적 접근을 그 특징으로 하기 때 문에, 지난 한 세기 동안 선교신학은 세속주의 선교신학과의 전쟁이라고 해도 과언이 아닐 것이다. 지난 19세기 말부터 오늘날까지 현대교회는 신학적 좌 경화를 표방하는 급진적인 신학을 통해 결과적으로 신학과 선교개념의 변질을 가져왔다. 이 후 사회구원의 신학이 등장하고 대전도(Larger Evangelism)의 개 념이 소개되면서 교회는 전통적인 영혼구원과 교회성장의 선교를 포기하였다. 세속화시대에 기독교 영성을 회복하는 일은 오늘 한국교회의 최대 과제이 다. 이러한 현 상황에서 초대교회의 선교적 영성을 연구함은 매우 유익하다 고 볼 수 있는데, 이러한 사도행전의 선교적 활발한 사역은 현대교회의 중요한 모델이 되기 때문이다. 롤랜드 알렌도 우리의 선교방법보다 초대교회 사 도행전에 나타난 선교방법으로 돌아갈 것을 촉구하기도 하였다. 사실 초대 교회의 활발한 선교사역의 근거는 오순절 성령 강림사건을 중심으로 이해될 수 있다. 성령의 오심은 구속사에서 하나님께서 베푸시는 그리스도인의 최 대의 축복이자, 성령의 보편적인 역사(행 2:17-18; 욜 2:28-29)로 이전 시대보 다 성령의 충만하신 임재를 누리는 역사가 전개되면서, 초대교회 선교역사 가 힘 있게 일어나게 만들었다. 오늘의 세속화시대에서 효과적인 선교적 영성을 위해 다시 초대교회로 돌 아가서, 성령에 대한 바른 이해를 가지고 선교사역을 수행하여야 한다. 오늘 날도 초대교회의 선교적 영성을 따라 오직 성령으로 충만한 선교사역을 통하 여 이 시대의 세속화의 어두움을 극복하기를 기도한다(행 2:17-18): “말세에 내가 내 영으로 모든 육체에게 부어 주리니 너희의 자녀들은 예언할 것이요 너희의 젊은이들은 환상을 보고 너희의 늙은이들은 꿈을 꾸리라 그 때에 내 가 내 영으로 내 남종들과 여종들에게 부어 주리니 저희가 예언할 것이요.”
Abstract
In the age of secularization, missiology department also has been influenced and struggled through secularized mission theorists. Because missiology is concerned on the modern social trends and cultural changes in various ways. Arthur Johnston called it as “The Battle for World Evangelism.” Since 19th century radical theological issues have attacked biblical concept of mission and have distorted its meaning of mission. They deserted a traditional concept of mission and brought a kind of social evangelism such as “larger evangelism.” In the secularized age, a task of modern Korean church is to recover the biblical Christian spirituality. It is necessary to study a missionary spirituality of the early church in Acts, because the mission of the early church is a kind of model for the modern church’s missions. Rolland Allen assisted our modern church should return to St. Paul’s missionary methods in early church. In fact, the coming of the Holy Spirit in Acts is a basis of understanding on the successful missionary works of early church in Acts. The coming of the Holy Spirit is a blessing to the New Testament Christians in the history of redemption (Acts 2:17-18; Joel 2:28-29), and after that all believers are fully benefited in the presence of the Holy Spirit. In Acts 1:8 Jesus told that the coming of the Holy Spirit makes the early church a missionary church. In a secularized age modern church should return the early church’s missionary method for the effective missionary works. Therefore, we pray that modern missionary can overcome the secularized approach of mission through recovering the missionary spirituality of the early church (Acts 2:17-18).
