다문화 학습공동체의 리듬과 학습과정 연구 : 의례이론을 중심으로

학습공동체는 학습을 주목적으로 하는 개인들이 연합한 하나의 단위이며 학습이라는 인간의 행위에 의해 관계 지어지고 그 공동체의 구성과 유지에 학습이 핵심적인 기능을 하는 집단이다. 다문화 학습공동체 또한 일상을 통한 다문화 학습과 상호소통이 이루어지는 새로운 학습의 장으로부각되고 있다. 따라서 이 연구의 목적은 다문화 사회에서 상호소통과 학습의 장으로 기여할 다문화 학습공동체의 학습과정을 분석함으로써 이주민들의 한국사회에 성공적인 적응과 주체적인 통합, 상호이해를 돕고자 하는 것이다. 이에 다양한 문화적 배경을 가진 이주여성들이 함께 학습하는 다문화 학습공동체인 바리스타 교실을 선정하여 참여관찰 한 후 의례이론에 입각하여 학습과정을 분석하였다. 연구결과 첫번째 새로운 학습의 출발점인 분리단계, 리미널리티와 커뮤니타스를 통한 미메시스적 학습이 일어나는 전이단계, 새로운 정체성을 형성하는 통합단계로 나눌 수 있었다. 특히 전이단계에서는 공동체 안에서 순환리듬, 다리듬, 조화리듬들이 발생하며 학습이 일어나고 있었다. 의례는 정형화된 집합적 표상이 아니라 한 개인이 미메시스적으로 하나의 세계에서또 다른 세계로 옮겨 가는 방식이고 새로운 세계를 창조하는 방식이 펼쳐지는 장이다. 따라서 다문화 학습공동체 속에서 습득되는 실천적 지식과 다양한 학습리듬을 발견하고 그 속에서의 창조를 유도 할 수 있는 다문화교육이 되어야 할 것이다.
Abstract
Learning Community is one unit united by individuals whose main purpose is studying and group whose core function is related by human behaviors, studying, organization, and maintenance of the community. Multi-studying community is also focused as the place of new studying for multi-studying and mutual communication through daily life. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to help immigrants’ successful adaptation to Korean society, subjective unity, and mutual understanding by analyzing studying process of multi-cultural studying community which will contribute as the place of mutual communication and studying in multi-cultural society. Therefore, this researcher selected, participated, and observed Barista class that is multi-cultural studying community immigration women with various cultural backgrounds study together and analyzed studying process by referring ritual theory. As a result, first, it could be divided into separation stage thai is starting point of new studying, transferring stage of mimesis studying through liminality and communitas, and united stage new identity forms. Especially, in transferring stage, circulation rhythms, multi-rhythms, and harmonious rhythms were occurred and there was studying in community. Ritual are the method one individual transfers from one world to another world as mimesis, not typical integral symbol, and place of the method creating new world. Therefore, practical studying knowledge and various studying rhythms learned in multi-cultural studying community should be discovered and in there, multi-cultural education inducing creation should be conducted.
