The purpose of this essay is to analyze the oral narrative culture of middle school student in focus of the regional difference. The oral narrative is to represent the event and problem in life through the everyday conversation. It is the original form of narrative and the basic medium of communication. It constructs the value and identity of storyteller and convey the culture of community. The oral narrative of adolescent represent their narrative culture. Especially the region is important factor that determinate the character of the narrative culture. The study method is the case study. I examine the oral narrative culture of middle school student the metropolis and small city. According to the analysis, the narrative culture of the metropolis is the rationality-orientation The structure of the narrative is in the center of the problem and polyphony. The interaction of narrative is in the center of the information and probability. But he narrative culture of the small city is the in the center of the relation. The interaction of narrative is in the center of the co-ownership. This consequence suggest that the educational communication reflect this character of regional narrative culture
