Korean grammar is very similar to Japanese one. So generally Japanese people learn Korean easier than others. But this similarity sometimes make them to produce more errors and to make them less productive. This is the reason why we should compare these two languages in detail before we design the teaching method. This paper is based on the view point above. So in this paper the semantic and syntactic features of Korean conjunctive ending ‘-myeonseo’ have been studied first. On the basis of the results, contrastive analysis between Korean ‘-myeonseo’ and Japanese ‘-ながら’ was done. Finally a new teaching method of Korean conjunctive ending ‘-myeonseo’ for Japanese people was proposed.
