한하운의 시세계에 대한 연구는 신세한탄이나 한국적 리리시즘과의 단편적 관계, 정치사적 맥락에서의 언급 등을 제외하고 온전한 시인으로서의 충실한 연구는 드물다는 점, 연구가 특정 작품에 편중되어 있으며 전반적인 시연구가 이루어지지 않고 있다는 점, 하운의 전기적 배경에 치중하여 시분석이 추상적이고 모호할 뿐 아니라 단편적이며 부분적이라는 점 등의 문제를 안고 있다. 이에 본고는 그의 시의식의 변모양상을 통해 그의 시세계의 깊이와 넓이에 대해 살펴보고자 한다. 1단계는 ‘자기부정의 시의식’이다. 1단계는 다시 나병선고 이후의 자괴적 내면의식를 담은 시기와 이후 고향을 떠나 유리걸식하는 체관적 노상의식을 담은 시기로 이분했다. 2단계는 ‘자기성찰의 시의식’이다. 2단계는 다시 ‘꽃’의 심상을 통한 순정의 비원을 담은 시기와 ‘백(白)’의 심상을 통한 순수에 대한 희원을 담은 시기로 이분했다. 3단계는 ‘자기긍정의 시의식’이다. 3단계는 다시 보편성의 간구와 이에 반작용으로 확산된 대극적 의지를 담은 시기와 이후 보편성의 획득과 화해적 수렴을 담은 시기로 이분했다.
Abstract
There are many problems in studies on Han Ha-un's poems. Many studies have focused on the relation with the sentiments and lyricism in korean mentality. And other studies have focused on the political context of Han's poems. But the study about the poems and poet itself is very rare. And also many studies are based on Han's specific poems, or his personal background. This tendency makes the studies too abstract or too partial. This study attempts to search the full depth and width of Han Ha-un's poems through the change of his poetic consciousness. This study differentiates the three stage in Han Ha-un's poetic consciousness. First stage, 'poetic consciousness of self-negation' is divided into the time to contain the inner sense about self-destructiveness after leprosy, and the time to contain the resignation as a begger after leaving hometown. Second stage, 'poetic consciousness of self-reflection' is divided into the time to contain the sorrow of pure love through the imagery of flower, and the time to contain the remorse about the pureness through the imagery of 'white'. Third stage, 'poetic consciousness of self-approbation' is divided into the time to contain the entreaty to universality and the will of extreme, and the time to contain the acquisition of universality and the pacificatory convergence.
