초록
The purpose of this report is to show the characters of adolescence language culture, or ALC, in the Internet and daily language. ALC is, though, regarded as destructive in language norms such as usage of slang and difficulty of conversation among different generations. However, we can understand the adolescents’ usage of abbreviated and symbolic words to increase unity to be creative and comprehensively simplistic among peer groups. Even with the Kakaotalk language, adults can communicate with adolescents. According to my research, the language in Kakaotalk consists of over 80 percent of daily language. Although daily language is more crucial than the internet language, the research discovers that the middle school girl students’ daily language is not extremely particular. Therefore, most people rarely have difficulties to communicate with each other. To sum up, the adolescence language culture in the internet and daily language is not too distinct from daily language. However, their language has unique characters which is creative, simplistic but understandable, cohesive, and entertaining.
