초록
Rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss) is an economically important aquaculture species. Previous studies have demonstrated that postbiotics from various Lactobacillus sp. strains can be used as agents to improve the growth and health of fish species. In this study, we investigated the effects of growth, hematological parameters, and immune responses in rainbow trout fed a diet postbiotics of Lactobacillus rhamnosus isolated from ginseng sprouts (Panax ginseng). Fish were fed a diet containing postbiotics for 30 days. After the feeding trial, fish fed postbiotics-supplemented diet showed significantly im- proved feed conversion ratio (FCR). The postbiotics groups exhibited higher total body length and weight gain rate compared to the control groups. The groups fed postbiotics-supplemented diets ex- hibited significantly higher antioxidant activity compared to the control groups. Furthermore, post- biotics supplementation enhanced phagocytic activity and provided protection against Aeromonas sal- monicida and infectious haematopoietic necrosis virus (IHNV) infections. These study results show that diet with postbiotics of L. rhamnosus isolated from ginseng sprout improves the innate immunity and growth of rainbow trout.
