Abstract
The KAPF poetry was created under the guidance of the organization after the official formation of KAPF in 1925. However, its roots should be traced back to the period of the New Trend that preceded it. One of the main characteristics of New Trend poetry is poverty, and this consciousness is entirely new in the history of literature, which is why it is referred to as New Trend. The poems of the New Trend, which went through a corporatist and spontaneous phase, began to reveal their characteristics as proletarian poetry when KAPF was officially established. This led to the creation of poems that embody partisanship. However, since the proletarian poetry was created in preference to organization and ideology, it could not escape the limitations of conceptual poetry. This gave rise to the popularization of proletarian poetry, stemming from the concern of how to bring it closer to the public, which had become distanced from it. However, this discussion was soon retracted under the pressure of the need to lay down its weapons as a struggle. Subsequently, KAPF poetry progressed through the Bolshevik phase to a stage of acquiring what is referred to as perspective. However, the deterioration of the objective situation prevented KAPF poetry from advancing any further. As a result, KAPF poets embarked on a path of internalization, revealing a new awareness rather than a class character. This was a clear awareness of national contradictions. This awareness had been lurking beneath the surface under Japanese surveillance, but it was only after the dissolution of KAPF that it became an opportunity for activation. However, following the Manchurian Incident and the Second Sino-Japanese War, KAPF poetry could not progress any further and became internalized until just before liberation, losing its ability to assert its existence.
