This study analyzed the items of Korean language history in the Secondary school Korean language teacher recruitment exam. The subject of analysis was Korean language history items from 2014 to 2023, and the analysis was conducted focusing on the type of items and the method of organizing the items. As a result, Korean language history items are presented at the highest rate in the SMK, and problems with entry-type items and the gap between items and reality can be confirmed. As a way to improve Korean language history items, First, the development of items related to curriculum content and curriculum education. Second, expanding the 'Teaching and Learning Situation Presentation Type' items reflecting various teaching and learning models. Third, development of items reflecting 'learners'.
