Abstract

This study intended to research the general tendency related to the education for the infants with visual impairments by analyzing the study for the infants with visual impairments from 1980 to 2008, to raise cognition about the importance of the early childhood education of the infants with visual impairments. And it intends to offer the basic data for realization of early education of the infants with visual impairments. This study investigated the trend of research according to the results after collecting and analyzing research materials which were published on scientific books inside and outside of the country and whose objects were the infants with visual impairments, and intended to find problems and solutions about the infants with visual impairments. As a result, first, it needs to improve the general interest about the infants in the quantitative and quantity aspects. Second, it needs to improve the interest about the administrative and financial suorts. Third, it needs to form the practical use of other families as well as the participation of mothers in the participation of families. Fourth, because families are very interested in the interactions and visual functions of the infants with visual impairments, the in-depth studies about these were needed. Fifth, the studies for various people to improve the attitude of disorder reception and integration about the children with disorders were needed.
