시각장애 중학생의 음악에 대한 태도와 정서지능 간의 관계 분석

본 연구는 음악에 대한 태도와 시각장애학생의 정서지능간의 관계를 분석하였다. 연구대상은 시각장애 중학생 74명이며, 학년, 성별, 시력정도, 발생시기에 따라 음악에 대한 태도와 정서지능을 알아보고 음악에 대한 태도와 정서지능과의 상관관계를 분석하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 시각장애학생의 음악에 대한 태도는 여학생이 남학생 보다 높았으나 다른 배경변인에 따른 유의미한 점은 없었다. 둘째, 시각장애학생의 정서지능은 여학생이 남학생 보다 높았으나 다른 배경변인에 따른 유의미한 점은 없었다. 셋째, 시각장애학생의 음악에 대한 태도와 정서지능간의 관계는 서로 상관이 있었다. 결과적으로 시각장애학생의 음악교육의 중요성을 강조하고 이 연구가 갖는 제한점을 밝혔다.
Abstract
This study analyzed the effect attitudes towards music have on emotional intelligence of students with the visually impaired. 74 middle school students with visual impairment were surveyed, by grade, gender, degree of visual acuity and onset time of visual impairment, to find out attitudes towards music and emotional intelligence, and to analyze the effect on attitudes towards music have on emotional intelligence of students with the visually impaired. The results of the research are as follows. Firstly, female students showed higher attitude towards music than males did, but revealed no meaningful difference in other factors. Secondly, female students indicated higher emotional intelligence than males did, but had no meaningful difference in other factors. Thirdly, attitudes towards music of students with visual impairment had an influence on emotional intelligence. In conclusion, in the study, the significance of music education for the students with the visually impaired was emphasized and the role of music to improve emotional intelligence was presented, and limitations for this study was described.
