The purpose of this study is to examine factors related to residential satisfaction in different income brackets. This author conducted regression analysis on the data of 「The 2016 Survey on Residential Conditions」 in order to figure out factors related to residential satisfaction. According to the analysis results, first, residential satisfaction is influenced by physical factors, locational factors, and social ․ environmental factors positively. Second, residential satisfaction is influenced by the area of the house positively. When the area gets bigger, residential satisfaction becomes higher. Third, residential satisfaction is influenced by the dummies of house types. There is positive influence found in households in general; however, negative influence is shown in low- and high-income groups. Fourth, residential satisfaction is influenced by the dummies of the region positively. This implies that households located in the capital area indicate higher residential satisfaction
