본 연구는 아동의 문학평가능력 향상을 위해 동화비평문 쓰기에 효과적인 프로그램을 개발적용하여 실제 어떤 변화가 있는지 알아보는데 그 목적이 있다. 다양한 문학작품을 통해 배운 경험은 아동의 발달에 큰 영향을 끼친다. 이에 7차 교육과정에서도 아동의 문학교육을 강조하고 있다. 그러나 실제 초등학교에서는 문학수용능력 향상에만 치중하고 문학평가능력을 위한 구체적인 학습은 미흡한 실정이다. 이를 위해 요구조사를 실시하여 프로그램의 목표를 설정하고, 목적에 따른 내용을 선정 및 조직하며 수업 모형과 평가방법을 개발하였다. 개발된 프로그램은 초등학교 5학년 한 학급을 선정하여 동화비평문 쓰기 프로그램을 8주 동안 적용하여 그 효과를 사전사후 검사를 통해 알아보았다. 연구 결과, 동화비평문 쓰기 프로그램은 문학평가능력 향상에 긍정적인 영향을 준 것으로 나타났다. 해석력과 비판력으로 구분 된 문학평가능력 중 특히 비판력의 향상에 더욱 긍정적인 역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 후속 연구로, 더 많은 아동과 여러 학년을 대상으로 장기간에 걸쳐 다양한 동화를 선정하여 적용하는 방안을 개발하는 연구가 이루어지도록 제언하였다.

<Abstract> Developing Writing Literary Criticism Instruction Program for Children's Literature Evaluation Ability Improvement Lee, Sung-eun(Ewha Womans University) Kweon, Seong-sug(Youngdo Elementary School) The purpose of this study was to develop writing literary criticism instruction based on children's literature program for advancing the literature evaluation abilities. For this purpose, the survey was carried out on teachers and students in order to find out on literature evaluation abilities. After survey, the objectives of this program have been established on the 7th Korean language curriculum. This program was applied to 43 fifth grade students of ‘Y' elementary school in Seoul, 29 sessions during 8 weeks. As a results, participating children showed quite meaningful improvements in the four categories of literature evaluation abilities; 'Causal Relationship Analysis', 'Inferential the Context', 'Judgment of Literature' and 'Bring Good-reasons' except 'Comparison and Contrast Analysis', It means that the program is effective for development of literature criticism writing. In conclusion, although this research does not complete the improvement of teaching method and lacks broadness in variations such as different participants and contexts, it shows an open possibility of future development and more progressive research for the teaching method of children's literature evaluation.
