홀리즘 시각으로 본 언어·문학 영재 교육 프로그램의 방향

본 연구는 홀리즘(holism)시각으로 언어·문학 영재에 대한 여러 측면을 검토하고 영재교육의 방향을 제시하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 홀리즘과 총체적언어 그리고 언어·문학 영재의 관계를 역사적·개념적으로 살펴본 후, 영재 교육 프로그램 설계 및 실행 전략을 기초하여 홀리스틱 언어·문학 영재교육 프로그램의 방향을 제시하였다. 언어 패러다임 전환의 시대에 홀리즘은 기계론적 철학에 대한 반성으로서 유기체적 사고를 지향하고, 이는 문학중심 총체적 언어 교육의 형태로 학교 현장에 존재한다. 언어 관련 영재 교육은 홀리스틱 관점에서 언어와 문학 영역의 통합 과정을 생각해볼 때 언어·문학 영재라는 명명이 가능해진다. 철학적 고려와 시대적 요구를 홀리즘의 관점으로 재구성한 홀리스틱 언어·문학 영재 교육은 문학을 축으로 듣기, 말하기, 읽기, 쓰기, 문법등의 언어 내용적 요소와 메타인지, 창의성, 집중력, 도덕적 가치, 심미적 능력, 다문화 이해, 지도력 등의 학습과정으로 이루어진다. 홀리스틱 언어·문학 영재 교육의 실효성을 거두기 위해서는 세계 교육 목표와의 연계, 영재 공동체 형성, 다양한 언어·문학 영재 교육 기관 운용, 영재교육 교사양성을 필요로 한다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to explore the direction for gifted education in language art and literature from the perspective of holism. There is a paradigm shift in these days so we need the view of Holism. Holism points out the thinking of organism as reflection on mechanism, it exists in the form of whole language approach in school. On the other hand, the gifted education started from the aspect of ration and philosophy. It was developed to scientific exploration and factor of intelligence by psychologists. Now, intelligence is mainly discussed through the principle of interaction. We reconstructed the gifted education program in language art and literature with a view to Holism which reflect philosophic consideration and periodical demand. Holistic education program in language art and literature showed a form of wheel. on the frame of wheel, there are some contents such as listening, speaking, reading, writing, and grammar. On the center, there is literature that we can reach through processes like meta-cognition, creativeness, concentration, moral ability, aesthetic ability, multi-culturalism and leadership. Holistic education program in language art and literature need the authentic supports, the relation with global education, gifted community, various services for the gifted education and teachers who can teach the gifted children.
