本稿는 曾鞏의 시인으로서의 위상을 평가하는 단계의 일환으로, 그의 詠史詩 작품을 분석 대상으로 삼고 연구를 진행하였다. 曾鞏의 詠史詩의 내용을 분석한 결과, 주제별로 크게 역사 인물에 대한 褒貶, 역사 사건에 대한 평가로 분류할 수가 있다. 曾鞏은 詠史詩 속에서 諸葛亮, 管仲, 鮑叔牙, 伯夷, 叔齊 등의 忠臣과, 揚雄, 顔回, 子貢, 子思 등의 학자, 陶淵明, 李白 등의 문인을 비롯한 역사 인물을 평가함으로써 北宋 당대에 교훈으로 삼고자 하였을 뿐만 아니라, 역사 인물의 인생역정을 반추하면서 자신을 省察하고자 하였다. 또한 曾鞏은 역사 사건과 역대 왕조의 파란만장한 흥망성쇠를 詠史詩의 중심 제재로 삼고, 객관적으로 평가함으로써 以史鑑今하고자 하였다. 曾鞏 詠史詩의 특징으로는 역사 인물이나 역사 사건을 짧은 편폭 속에서 함축적으로 簡明하게 사실적으로 묘사한 점을 꼽을 수 있겠다.
Abstract
Zeng Gong is a characteristic poet in the field of poems of Northern Song Dynasty. However, since the image was highlighted as one of the TANGSONGBADAJIA, it focused on research on prose, and low praise for poems, and studies of poems were insignificant. However, analysis of his poems suggests that the originality and artistic style of creativity are excellent. Because of this, this thesis made comprehensive and deep study on Zeng Gong’s poems, attempts to study particularly about historical poems. Zeng Gong’s historical poems express ideas and feelings by describing objects, use the past to satirize the present, thus have very practical significance. Zeng Gong wanted to use the historic event and the rise and fall of the dynasty as the central topic and objectively evaluate it to make it a mirror of the past. By evaluating historical figures, he wanted to use them as a lesson in Northern Song Dynasty. One of the characteristics of the construction project is that it portrays historical figures and historical events in a short and concise manner.
