한설야 소설에 나타난 생산력 중심주의 - 해방 전후의 연속성을 중심으로
A Study on the Aspects of the Change in Han Seol Ya’s Novels

Han Seol Ya’s novels were considered to be Tendenzroman, labor novel, conversion novel that represented Korean literature during the Japanese colonial period. Since they were based on realistic aesthetics, they found the writer’s views on the world. One of the main problems that the studies on the writer’s novels had was that they did not cover the entire period but only looked at each period separately. Most of them were about the writer’s work that were written during the Japanese Colonial period. In cases of studying his novels written after liberation, some famous novels such as ≪Seol Bong San≫ were only studied. Han Seol Ya continuously created a lot of works from taking the rostrum until purging. When considering such amount, he was more productive after liberation. Taking these facts into consideration, this thesis tried to cover his works over the entire period and to find out narrative characteristics. This thesis tried to reveal the deep structure of creating meanings through studying the relationships between sememes. Firstly, the relationship between the ‘production-relation’ sememe and ‘productivity’ sememe were mainly examined. The first semantic aspect of Han Seol Ya’s novels was mainly about production. Out of the two factors that formed production, most of the focus was put on production-relation sememe during the KAPF period. As the time went by, the focus was shifted onto the productivity sememe. In North Korean novels after liberation, Han Seol Ya emphasized mostly on the productivity sememe.
