중국․조선 『精忠錄』 刊本의 變容과 수록 작품에 나타난 忠義 관념

Abstract

『Jeongchungrok』 contains the loyalty and deeds of Yue Fei, who was sentenced to death after being framed by the treacherous minister Qin Hui. Related materials include 『Jeong- chungrok』 from the Anhui Provincial Library in China, 『Dae- songjungsongjungheungtongsokyeoneui(大宋中興通俗演義)』 from the Jiajing period in China, and 『Hoechansongakakmumokwang- jeongchungrok(會纂宋岳鄂武穆王精忠錄)』 from the Joseon edition, which still exists today. The illustrations included in 『Daesongjungsongjungheung- tongsokyeoneui』 published during the Jiajing period in China, and 『Hoechansongakakmumokwangjeongchungrok』 published during the reign of King Seonjo in Joseon, were examined based on prior research, confirming an influence on their composition and style of expression. Additionally, this study investigated how the illustrations in 『Hoechansongakakmumokwangjeongchung- rok』 published during King Seonjo's reign, were adapted to align with the lifestyle and sentiments of the Korean people. Furthermore, since Suk-Jung Choi's book-reading poetry was composed before the publication of 『Hoechansongakakmumok- wangjeongchungrok』 it suggests that 『Jeongchungrok』 had already been circulating in Joseon society prior to King Seonjo's reign. By analyzing the works featured in 『Jeongchungrok』 including the Zan written by Wang Bai, a Neo-Confucian scholar from the late Song dynasty; the lyric 「Man Jiang Hong」 attributed to Yue Fei; a regulated verse by Yuan dynasty poet Zhao Mengfu; and various poems that follow Zhao Mengfu's rhyme scheme or quote his verses, I identified poetic themes that honor Yue Fei's loyalty and righteousness while denouncing the treachery of Qin Hui. This study seeks to move beyond the previous research trends focused on the dissemination and circulation of 『Jeongchungrok』 and the depiction of Yue Fei's character. Instead, it highlights how the consciousness of loyalty and righteousness regarding Yue Fei was expressed in Joseon, mainly through the literary works featured in 『Jeongchungrok』 and the book-reading poetry composed by Joseon scholars and monarchs after reading 『Jeongchungrok』. This is where the significance of this research lies.
